Who would want one of them high-tech Jap things when you could have something like this? Beautiful... |
Four-door
hardtop '57 Ford looking good in Salmon Pink and White.
|
Mercury Coupe that says 'MINT46' on the plates... or maybe it's a '48, but who cares. It's nice. |
So how many of you remember your primary school education on Roman numerals? Give up? XXXII = 32 |
An absolutely stunning late '40s style Deuce 3-window. I have never met the bloke, but apparently he was or is the the president of the Ferrari Club. Good to see he finally figured it out and got a hot rod! |
Lots
of nice details on this car, although I think that red pinline is actually
tape. That HAS to go!
|
It's got all the right bits, that's for sure. |
This
kind of look is becoming much more popular. Fairly stock wheels, whitewalls
and a low stance. Maybe it's so the whallopers (cops) will leave them
alone, or maybe (as I've known for years), it just looks better.

Just another interesting roadster that I saw parked on the grass. All up there were around 2000 entrants, so it was bloody hard to see everything in one day. I tried though. |
This is another one of my favourite Victorian hot rods. I saw it for the first time at the Nationals in 2003 and took a bunch of pics then. Just a great combination. |
