Panel and Paint - Page 4

Did I mention the roof? The effect in this light is quite subtle and unlike the bumper car or speed boat metalflake of the 70s, this stuff stuff is pretty fine. It's listed as Mini Flake in the HOK catalogue and they even have an Ultra Mini for an even more subtle effect.
It's a little hard to photograph the effect (but as you can see I'm trying hard!) but in this shot the flake looks mainly blue.

Whereas here it's got a definite green tint to it.

It's pretty cool and as an added bonus, the flake shines a very similar colour to the body of the car when the right light hits it. It's pretty amazing.

Here she is all painted up and with the trim on and badge back on (I got rid of the badges on the side the first time I painted it).

I'm missing the left hand side vertical piece of the rear window trim, so I once I get a good one of those, I'll get the rest of the trim on and the window in properly.

You gotta be sick of it by now, but check it out in the sun!

It's a real turquoise colour from this angle, yet...

From the other side it's shining a medium blue.
It looks pretty heavy from this angle. That's a good thing.
