Now this is my kind of Hot Rod. It's got all the right stuff, hairpins, steelies, wide whites and a chopped screen.

I may be wrong, but I think this roadster was once black. That number plate seems vaguely familiar.

During the course of the event there were even tattoo artists on hand. I think they were doing it for cut rate prices and you could have anything you wanted... as long as it was something to do with cars.

I think this guy slipped through the net though. He's getting LEFT and RIGHT tattooed across his knuckles.

The suede purple one I've seen before in various magazines, but don't know too much about. Looks like a very nice chop for a four door.

Don't know if there was any surf around at the time, but who cares when you're cruisin' in a woodie this cool.

This fine looking coupe won the Tina Memorial Award.

Tina is John's wife who passed away recently. I think they give this award to the car that Tina would have liked the most.
