Wayne Pickles' HK Monaro is one of the nicest cars to compete on the salt. It's no slouch either, running up around 190mph.

John Lynch in the centre with his crew. Not sure who the blokes are on the outside, but the two either side of John are Al Scott and Al Fountain.

Mark puts this funny looking nose on the Mustang just to see how much faster it will go. From memory it's good for another 5-10mph.

Another shot of Wayne's Monaro. Damn it's nice, pity it's not wearing the Moon discs. I think he stepped up the wheel size and didn't get around to getting a new set of discs for it.

Norm Bradshaw's Mustang has a 499 cube big-block Ford in it and was originally set up for a Gumball Rally type event. The big motor takes the car out of Production class and puts it into Gas Coupe. Car has run over 202mph, proving the fact that: "There is no replacement for displacement!"
